Software Engineer
Position Description
NSIGHT Enterprise Software is seeking aggressive entry level individuals to develop and maintain new applications using C#/.NET, VB.NET and ASP.NET in a fast-paced development environment. Applicants must be very familiar with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server. This position calls for a dedicated and self-motivated software engineer who can work within a team environment, independently or with the guidance of senior engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 3+ years in C#, .NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, XML, SQL Server
- 5+ years in building Windows based, client/server software applications
- Experience with Multi-tier and distributed system architectures
- Strong Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns and unit testing
- Interest in Agile Development Project Management
- Strong communication/collaborative skills and a committed team player
- Must be self motivated and driven
- Legally qualified to work in the United States
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Desirable Skills / Background
- MCSD.NET Certification
- Finance and Financial Services experience
- Experience with Web Services, Remoting, and automating Office Applications

Account Manager
Position Description
As an NSIGHT Account Manager, you'll lead our financial services clients through the
implementation of the iStar product platform, manage the post-implementation
relationship with our customers and facilitate product development by
developing in-depth knowledge of our customers’ needs. NSIGHT’s delivery model
involves hands-on work at our clients’ sites in addition to working with the
development team in our New York office.
The Account Manager will typically work with small to mid-sized clients implementing the iStar
software suite. These projects will typically range from (60 – 90 days) and be focused
on implementing the iStar product suite, training NSIGHT’s customers and migration
of existing customer systems to the iStar platform.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with client staff / stakeholders to define implementation roadmaps
- Facilitate requirements discovery and analysis phases
- Develop and manage project plans for client implementations (typically 60-90 days)
- Lead implementation teams consisting of NSIGHT and clients’ staff
- Execute data migration and conversion of existing data sources
- Develop intimate knowledge of clients’ business processes and operating methodologies
- Develop and cultivate relationships with key client personnel
- Manage ongoing relationships with NSIGHT’s customers
Experience/Skills
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in technology consulting for a consulting firm, professional services division of a software company or IT division of a financial services firm
- Working knowledge of the institutional finance industry and/or trading operations
- 2+ years experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server or Sybase preferred)
- 2+ years of Project Management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Direct hands-on experience producing project deliverables (project plans, requirements specifications, design deliverables, system configuration, data conversions, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or other technical discipline required
